Finally back after a long hiatus

         It has been a long time since I have blogged and it may be due time for me to catch up. The last time I posted was March of last year and SO much has happened since then.  First off, my husband went, he saw, and he conquered Air Force BMT. We are now at Altus Air Force Base YAY! Altus isn't that bad but it is quite a culture shock. My hometown is home to over 60,000 people and growing rapidly. Altus has maybe 20,000 if that and is not growing. But it does have that nice homey feel, kind of like Mayberry. The town is made into one large square, there are 4 main roads and one of them goes straight through town. all the stores whether it be food, clothing, and general merchandise are mainly mom and pop stores. The residents consist I would say 3/4 of military families.  The  closest real shopping to do is either Walmart in town or the mall in Lawton almost an hour away:(  . Oh well, everything has it's pros and cons. 

           Outside of that, My son, is now going to be 2 years old this month. How exciting !! He has turned into an amazing, smart, handsome, polite young man. He says please and thank you, he can put on his shoes and loves to dress himself and brush his own teeth. He is working on his ABC's and 123's. I am making lesson plans to at home preschool him after his 2nd birthday. I believe he is ready and I think even more so he will find it interesting and fun. 

             I am on a journey to better myself as well. I have decided that my path lie in the nursing career. I have completed 4 of my pre-requisite classes already. I took a small break over the summer and this Fall, but this Spring I am deciding to get back to it and buckle down. This is something important not only for myself but for my family as a whole. Once I do complete everything I would love to be an OB nurse or maybe even peds.  I am also working on my health as well. After having my son and roller coasters with birth control I have gained a bit of weight and am currently working on losing that. We have also decided sometime in the next year is the perfect time to try for baby #2. We of course want healthy and happy, but we wouldn't be dissapointed to have a girl :)  I will try to keep this blog going as often as possible with everything that's been going on. Especially now that I have more to write about.

The new trend in permanent hair straightening

 OK so we all love our hair silky straight and sometimes we resort to the packages of relaxer or curl remover from Sally's to do so.  I'll be honest I love my hair straight and I have put relaxers in for ethnic hair. They work wonders. My natural hair is that of ethnic texture it is not curly it is not straight it is just a frizz ball before I style it.  We have all heard of the Japanese hair straightening system which has rave reviews. I personally have never tried the thermal straightening but there is a new one out that makes me want to experiment with it. Its called the Brazilian blowout. It isn't too new in the salons, but for those of us  who do things at home rather than overpay for salon services it is new.  The brazillian blowout  is basically the same method as the Japanese hair straightening system but claims to be healthier for your hair. It uses Keratin to "re bond" your hair meaning it takes the  DNA makeup and  completely restructures it to believe that it is and always has been straight. The only other difference is  The brazillian blowout only lasts for 2 months on virgin ( untouched) hair and 3-4 months on color treated/ previously relaxed hair. That is half the time the Japanese hair straightening lasts( 6-8 months)  but is it worth it due to the "so-called" less damaging that it does. Hmm. Sounds like a project. I will purchase the quantum thermal Japanese hair straightening system and the brazillian keratin smoothing system  I will do the Brazillian once first and test it to see how I like it  let it take it's course over the 3-4 months. Review it several times, once after I've completed the treatment. and once each month it's in to let you guys know how it does.  Then I will do the Japanese treatment  and compare the two using the same review methods. We will see which one is better. BTW you do have to be professional to purchase these products unless you know other means. I know other means. Thank you for reading. Look forward to the reviews.

How to remove eye makeup

 Once again another quick and simple tip coming straight from your bathroom. I love thick dark eye makeup. I personally use mascara, liquid and pencil eyeliner, and about 4 eye shadow colors each time I make myself up. I love that dramatic smokey eye so of course when I do my makeup like that I have to remove my eye makeup. I have used eye makeup remover before and a few years back I found something that works just as well as eye makeup remover but that I could find right in my bathroom already. Another tip for that wonderful facial moisturizer. No you don't just lather it on and rub it in. What your going to need; a bath rag( I only use mine for my face), your daily moisturizer, and a little warm water.  Take the excess makeup off using your rag and water soap also if you prefer I always wash my face after I remove my makeup. Once you have removed the excess, take a cotton ball and add your moisturizer ( I use St. Ives renew and firm) to the cotton ball place on your eyelid covering your eyelashes for about 10-30 seconds depending on if you used waterproof mascara. after the 10-30 seconds is up slowly slide the cotton ball down over your eyelashes and rub the makeup off your eyes into the cotton ball. continue this step until  the cotton ball comes clean usualy takes about 3 swipes.  Now your ready to wash your face. See that was simple and quick.  works just as well and no need to buy an extra product to clean off your makeup. Face the day with your best foot forward!

 Hey everyone. I know most of us have color treated hair.  This  is so far the second best shampoo and conditioner I have used  I say second best because my favorite is heavenly by TIGI catwalk  But this is  amazing. First off it's sulfate free  all of their shampoos are it's specially formulated for color treated hair.  Second,  it makes your hair feel amazing with only having to use a small amount. It lathers easily and leaves no residue behind. It smoothes and moisturizes  your hair leaving  you no need to use extra products after you get out of the shower.  I personally give this product 4 stars  I will be going back and getting the full collection of Coloresse products.  I personally bought the smooth shampoo and conditioner but they have  currently shine spray, Moisture shampoo and conditioner,  rescue shampoo and conditioner, volume shampoo and conditioner. It is exclusive at this time to Sally's for a great price $7 for Sally's members. Go out and buy this!

Product review Brazilian Tech Deep Penetrating Conditioning Treatment

 So I bleached my hair blonde once again from bright red using box dye. Well it wasn't as bad as some of my bad mixups but it turned out pretty ugly. I immediately drove to the closest Sally beauty supply to spend the extra money to fix my hair.  I bought several products  but one I am absolutely nuts over is the Brazilian Tech Deep Penetrating Conditioning Treatment. I was skeptical about something I have never used as I have used products before and they dried out my hair more than conditioning them , funny how that works huh ? I purchased the small bottle not the sample size packet but the actual travel sized bottle.  for $3 I figured that's not too bad if it works i'll come back and buy the large bottle. Well, I am ready to go and purchase the full sized bottle. I have naturally thick, course, wavy hair that lacks luster to say the least. After properly bleaching my hair I used purple shampoo then rinsed and directly added this product to my damp hair and left on for about 8 minutes. I added some water and lathered a bit more then rinsed. When I dried my hair it came out almost straight. Still had body in it, the perfect amount of shine without even using a hair serum,  and of course volume. It did not weigh my hair down, it did not leave it greasy. It was so silky and smooth I did another deep condition tonight. I give this product 5 stars. I will be purchasing this full size product from now on which is $8 for Sally's members. Give it a try yourself and tell me what you think.

how to make your very own tinted moisturizer luminizer

 This one is very short and sweet.  This is how to make your very own tinted moisturizer/luminizer/bronzer.
 We all want that fresh angel face every now and again.  So it's very simple and  you can make it from the ingredients found in your very own bathroom once again. Things you will need; facial moisturizer, foundation, bronzer, highlighter. You can either make enough to fill your own bottle or you can make enough for each time you want to use it. This can also work if you omit an ingredient also, such as, you do not like a bronzer or that's not the look your going for you can omit it. Or if you just want a tinted bronzing moisturizer you can omit the highlighter. You  get your moisturizer and this is your main ingredient(DUH)  then you add the powdered bronzer (however much you like) and highlighter to it. Then your going to mix in your foundation whether it be liquid or powder it doesn't matter. Make sure it's all well blended then use it or store it. It's up to you.  Also another tip. Skimp on your pricey primer unless it's a mattifying one. Moisturizer on your fresh clean skin before you put on your foundation does the same thing. and a concealer on the eyes and set for a about a minute does the same as eye shadow primer. No need to run out and pay top dollar for primer. However If you are using bright colors I do reccomend using a white primer under your eye shadow it will allow the true pigment of the eye shadow to show  so much better.

How to properly clean your makeup brushes

 So ladies out there. I know we have some fashionistas.  I will have some tips coming for you. Here is the first one. Do you have a makeup brush set that you use but can't afford the expensive cleaner for it? I did, It was nasty and I barely wanted to use it anymore because of the buildup but thought the price of brush cleaner was outrageous. Well, I am going to tell you how to bring them back to life with stuff you can find in your very own bathroom.  Things you will need include; a towel, your brushes, running water, and your everyday shampoo. Yep that's right, I said it, SHAMPOO.  So to begin you wet all your brushes  to get the easy to remove clumps off the brushes.  then you add some shampoo to your hand just a dot. You lather the brushes in the shampoo then run them side to side and front to back in the palm of your hand so that you know every bristle of your brush is covered then rinse and set aside. Once you have completed washing  them blot them dry on your towel to make sure the excess moisture is off the brushes. Reshape them, and your done.  The hardest brush I had to come clean was my eyebrow brush it was originally white and from all the powder on it it had turned dark brown. It is now shiny and white again. So happy washing ladies. Enjoy your rejuvenated brushes again.

So things are UP & UP

Well everyone Hubbs has his ship date. It is in April. That’s all I will say. The baby is amazing. He is such a precious bundle of joy. He will be 4 months on the 22nd of this month. He smiles all the time. Loves belly time. Loves to roll over. He laughs out loud and is very ticklish.  He is very social also. he’s not shy at all.  He’s a pretty good sleeper. I have started officially couponing. I did my first REAL trip the other day and spent $150 on $400 worth of products. I still do things here and there to make money online. I do online secret shopping. these past few months I’ve brought in only about $40 bucks  but that’s $40 more than I had. I also do online surveys and paid to read emails. I am expecting a $240 payout soon with one of them after a couple of months of work.  That the only thing about online work is its very little payout for such a long time. plus Legit opps are few and far between.  I have seriously started thinking about the future and well being of our family Financially. We switched car insurance companies and save about $460 a year !!! we purchased a life insurance policy through Gerber Life for Chaise.  We also have a 529 plan we are contributing to. We have several rewards cards and grocery cards linked to a Upromise account. I love Upromise. I am planning the trip for us to San Antonio Texas for June YAY! it will be so much fun. I am going to post 2 new blogs today. The first one is of course this one and OH how exciting it is! So the newest chapter in our book  is of course our baby Chaise. He was born September 22 of this year at 4:14 P.M. he weighed 6 lbs. 14 oz. and was 20 inches long. But for sole purposes of entertainment i'll start at the beginning.   September 18 I started having contractions. At first I thought they were Braxton hicks contractions they were very dull  only felt like a period cramp but the thing about my period cramps they have always been double over lay in fetal position cramps  for me anyways lol. So contractions began I waited till the end of the next day to get them seen about because they weren't going away  with anything I tried. I went to the Dr. and they gave me a NST sure enough contractions 7 minutes apart consistently and only 1 cm dilated. Not enough progression whatsoever to be admitted to the hospital. I did not try Castor Oil or any of the other outrageous methods to induce labor however I did  eat spicy food, Chinese food, tried pressure points, warm not hot baths for relaxation, and LOTS of sex. So September 21 rolls around and contractions start to feel a little more intense It was my actual day to be checked by the Dr. and after all of the methods i did try i was dilated to 2 cm how exciting!  I told the Dr. I was tired of contractions even though they did not hurt . At this point I had actual contractions for going on 4 days and only dilated to 2 cm. He offered me to be induced and I agreed. The set date was for September 22 at 5:30 A.M. I go home and double check the bags packed everything is there and ready to go. I clean whats left of the house to be cleaned.  we filled the dogs bowl and walked him.  That night I barely could sleep at all due to the contractions starting to get stronger and stronger and the anxiety of the next day getting to me. I was TERRIFIED. I have never had a child before  I didn't know what was in store for me. At this point I didn't want to be induced throughout the whole pregnancy I wanted everything natural  no drugs I wanted to walk around i wanted to do what i wanted to do. We woke up the next morning and headed to the hospital  and was admitted into our delivery room and set up shop.  The Dr. came in and checked me. Yay! I had made it to 3 cm finally.  they started me off on a pitocin drip. everything was good still could deal with the contractions some of them I couldn't even feel.  family members started showing up.  and for a few hours we just all relaxed.  The Dr. came in again to break my water, once the water sack was broken  all hell broke loose (excuse my language.)  The contractions became unbearable. I refused to take an epidural i wanted to be the ultimate woman and have a natural birth with no drugs. I didn't receive any pain medication until I was 8 cm dilated. I finally after Shawn telling me to please get an epidural I got one.   They are amazing!  I breezed through the rest of the contractions all the way to 10 cm dilated and ready to push.  The nurses and midwives came in and set up  everything for the baby. I began to push I pushed for 30 minutes and the midwife started screaming for the Dr. to come in. I was so scared that something was wrong but all it was is the baby was coming regardless how much we tried to hold him there. I delivered him  and ripped so bad the doc stitched all the way up and down. from that point on we  stayed for 2 days then were released home.

I am so waiting on this baby to get here Pregnancy Update!!! PS may not be suitable for male eyes.

 OK everyone, So I am 9 months pregnant. Due date 9-30-11. On 9-06-11 I went to the doctor and was checked i was 1 cm dilated. Well 3 days ago 09-16-11 I started having contractions they did not feel like BH (Braxton Hicks) . I was literally wanting to nest and walk . Plus I was craving Pot Roast which I made YUM!  While in Winn Dixie I was shopping in the produce section and the first noticeable contraction hit me . at this point They were not regular or anything. The associate there thought I was going into labor HAHA! she got scared and everything asking if I was OK .  The very next day it felt like my pubic bone was opening up or to describe it better it felt tender and bruised outside.  Still having contractions hard to stand and walk sometimes even talk through completely but no real PAIN. Not like described by all those women who decided they would give me advice. Which I welcome.  You know  the women who scream " you WILL get an epidural trust me!"  well I am hanging around the house we clean up the house AGAIN and I start to notice bloody show  every time I wipe. continued  for 2 days  because today it was still there . Contractions still there . The hubbs gets home and I stand up and walk in to greet him and ask about his day and my water has not broken but i feel wetness down my thigh  No I didn't pee myself. I'm guessing i'm starting to leak . So I call the doctors office and describe everything. They advise me to come in and get checked at 2:55. So I say OK , I pack the bags into the car  take a shower and get all clean, stop by McD's on the way in case  I have to be admitted. I get there and they do a NST (nonstress test) ultrasound on me. Of course the baby is moving fine. Heart rate is good. But amazingly right there on the monitor are REAL contractions. about 7 minutes apart consistant. some i didn't even feel you guys. Some I noticed but I had been thinking those little twinges of uncomfortness had been the baby pushing downward.  Well I finish the NST ultrasound and I go into the room and wait on the table for the doc to come in . I became so disappointed. I'm still only 1 cm dilated.  but I'm having contractions. I so thought it was time. I was hoping no i was praying it was time. So I go home and I feel them stronger than before and i counted them they are about 4 minutes apart consistently but for the sake of being sent home again. I'll just stay home until They get PAINFUL or my water breaks. Hopefully I don't wait too long and have the baby at home. But I will not get sent home again . If I go back I will get them to break my waters and start active labor for me.   Leave Feedback  I have nothing better to do than try to get him to come.

OK, everyone, So as we know I rarely blog. Well we also know I happen to research working from home. Before you decide to leave let me explain. There are A LOT of scams out there as well as a lot of ways to waste time online. I came across this website that is for Data Entry. So i'm like eh, i'll give it a try why not what do I have to lose? I spend hours online anyways searching for these opportunities and most of that time is on Google. I love Google. not too fond of Bing. Well I signed up. verified I was myself blah, blah, blah etc. etc. When you sign up you get a $10 bonus which is nice to start you off. you must get to $40 to cash out in PayPal. Well when I signed in I did not start doing data entry for THAT website It said I must gain a certain number of referrals first . So i'm like CRAP! I hate MLM I have never had success with MLM. Noone wants to do it let's be honest. Well I'm like ok i'll still give it a try. So I thought to myself what is the best way to get referrals... Craigslist ... forums... OK so I go to craigslist and I start at the home page NOT THE PAGE FOR MY CITY. I started at the top and am working my way down posting job opportunities been at it for an hour now and currently I have gained 2 referrals already. I've only finished 2 states of job postings. So every referral I recieve I make .10. Each referral they gain I will get .10 When they reach their payout I recieve $10 so calculating this up I need 400 referrals to gain payout and they need 400 giving me 800 referrals. Ok I know thats boring I'm losing myself now lol. Either way I do see this going somewhere if I use my tools correctly . OK everyone So i know I don't blog very often but here I am again . I've been feeling very odd emotionally lately. Like happy but very nonchalant at the same time . Here is an update on our lives . Shawn is joining the Air Force. He took his ASVAB and passed woot woot! He's awaiting approval for his tattoo then he can go to meps. Once he gets through meps they stated he'll be in the DEP ( delayed Enlistment Program) until after the baby is born in September. The recruiter stated that he will leave before the holidays . So I am so very happy that my husband will be going into basics because this has been a long journey . Let me start at the beginning . I know this is long But it's my blog so whatever . We met when we were 10 My best friend was his cousin his grandmother watched me. We were separated and then reunited when we were 18. We immediately rekindled our love and began dating. Nothing serious at first just out to dinner and movies blah blah blah . Well we became exclusive with each other and after a year of dating we then got engaged . We were engaged for almost 2 years then he brought up the topic of joining the air force . I completely 110% support him on this . We got married July 16 2010 He went and spoke to a recruiter and found out that since he only had is GED he had to go to college to get 15 credits in order to join the Air Force. So He recently completed 2 semesters of college and February 4th 2011 we found out the day before his 22nd birthday We were surprisingly expecting our first little one Who was conceived on Christmas morning go figure . Well Once he completed the College credits We are married and expecting our little one he went and spoke to the recruiter again and began the process to enlist. Now we are sort of stuck in Limbo waiting for him to go to MEPS . So yes I am sad he will not be here for our babies first holidays but at the same time I need to get used to him being gone for holidays too because being in the service he will get deployed. I am ready for him to go to BMT and tech school so that we can start our journey as a military family and give baby Chaise everything we didn't have. I need more subscribers I feel like when I blog I write to myself . And maybe hopefully If my blog goes well I'm considering starting a vlog on YouTube . There are Army Wives Navy wives and Marine wives who vlog but not really Air Force wives. So that would be interesting. let me know what you think.

So i'm 7 months pregnant . I wake up and it's 91 degrees in the house the air conditioner works but NOONE turned it off . I go to leave i'm forced to stay in the house . I'm called a crazy psycho bitch . I am not happy . I;m tired of hands being put on me . Yeah granted i don't get hit but what's the difference . I'm not suicidal but I no longer want to live . All I ever do is cry anymore . I'm so unhappy. I;m not his family I'm just his wife . If the word wife ever had so many meanings i did not know it . what is a wife . well lets get medieval here a wife is someone who obeys their husband and does the chores but doesn't get the credit . A wife is someone who makes their husband look good and stands quietly in the corner until the guests needs refreshments . his mother father and sister are his family . He gets more excited about a car than he does his own child . He never wanted it in the first place . I'm sorry baby chaise I had to bring you in this world . Outside i'm forced to be perfect But without the risk of sounding like titanic i feel her when she says shes standing in a room full of strangers screaming inside. well eyeballs are monitoring what i write so bye .

OK so i am Doing this clicking ads thing online . Among a few of my PTC sites I have a few high paying ptc sites most people say they are scams. We will see . I just reached the minimum payout on one called buzinessmails.biz The minimum cash out it $1000 It stated that my payout request has been accepted and I should receive a payment in 30 days . I unlike so many people take the time to actually read terms on these things . If you look up payment proofs for this company all you find are Indonesians who say " I request payment I been with this site for 2 weeks and still no pay when my money come?" Well if you took the time to read terms it states you will earn payment in 30 days or a reasonable time after . And most people also state that the sites like these shutdown after you request payment from them or they suspend your account or will no longer allow you to click ads or read emails . This is how it went down .
1. I clicked ads and read emails .
2. I reached minimum payout .
3. I requested minimum payout.
4. received confirmation of my payout
5. was still able to log in to this site with notice of payout being processed.
6. Was able to click ads and read emails.
7 Almost reached minimum payout again.

What I do not understand is on most PTC sites high paying or not
people automatically upgrade wasting their money on the site If you are able to make some income whether it be $2.00 or $1000 your making money right . If they allow you to cash out why upgrade . So you spend anywhere from $8 a month to $200 a month just to have an upgraded account to be able to do the same thing you were before . YOU ARE STUPID! I want all of my cash. Not put it back into the website.
I had no problem so far out of this site despite other comments . What I have had a problem with are the lower paying sites I easily reached minimum payout on. Like FairPayBux heres what happened .
1. I clicked for 2 weeks to reach minimum payout of 2.00
2. Had referrals Who also reached minimum payout of $2.00
3 requested payout AFTER reading terms.
4. While requesting payout received a notice stating .
PAYOUT REQUEST DENIED . YOU ARE ONLY ABLE TO CASH OUT 100% OF YOUR INVESTMENT YOUR CURRENT INVESTMENT AMOUNT IS 0.00 SO YOU ARE ABLE TO CASH OUT A TOTAL OF 0.00
Meaning that in order to cash out my $2.34 I must invest $2.34 . Make sense ? no not to me either So basically I would make $0.00 I am not putting money into this site in order to cash out $2.00 what does $2.00 buy these days not even a gallon of gas . Thank you but no thanks . I will continue to test these sites to see which ones are good and which ones are crap I will let you know .

I am so tired I did not even sleep last night . I staye up all night excited about making a new source of income and thinking about my mini shopping spree today . I had so much fun . I got dressed up went ad cashed my check then i went to get gas ad ciggerettes Got my nails done then went all over dothan finding the best deals around. I baught alot of new stuff . jeans slacks shoes , tops a purse some hair care products . I feel special I needed it . I am so excited about my new job . I have no worries . I am going to do my best and make sure that I put my best effort forward. well only 5 more days to go . Gotta work tomorrow . I iroed my clothes for tomorrow . They look good . reorganized my new purse. helped clean up the house . doctored the dog he has an ear infection . heading to bed see y later

Sleepless nights

So it is early in the morning . Payday of course . Should be getting some sleep but cant so excited about all the upsoming events . Today is my last day off for 8 days and I have alot to do . I have to get gas and ciggs pay rent get groceries wash car get nails done go shopping for business casual clothes have a lunch date with lacie . clean teh house iron clothes wash clothes . All the ordinary things one should do crammed into a few hours with no sleep . Ate waffle house with Shawn and cody . had the server cracking up . drank 2 or 3 cups of coffee probably another reason i cant sleep and Im rambling unusually . anyways bout to hit the sack . till later days yall peace out .

well its finally coming together...

Its that thrilling moment when your on a roller coaster  and you know whats happening all you can see is the sky .  and people  around you are excited  screaming with their arms raised above their heads . Well I know what comes next  but I dont want it to happen yet . Im at the very edge . My heart is racing . I know we are reaching that hill right before the first spiral . It can be a good thing  or bad. Im hoping good. My career is  taking off for the better. In this past year I have learned  alot . I know that in some ways i've matured and in some ways  I have remained stagnant. I am a married woman with a great sense of pride and learned from slight hardships in life not to let ANYONE walk on me . I am just that a WOMAN in the strongest form of the word . Do not underestimate the power of a woman . Its like the LOVE of a mother . The power of a woman can change the ocean tides  and draw the moon closer .  It can move mountains and inspire people to do things they never dreamt of doing . It can make  this horrible world a bright sunshiny place and make oscar the grouch come out of his everloving garbage can .  I have that POWER.   I stand behind my Man . In front of every man is a powerful woman .  And I mean that as a a true from of speach not a figure . Because It is the woman who makes the financial decisions . The decisions on  what to buy for the house or what move to make next . If a buddy calls to go out for drinks what do you do . You ask your wife . She stands before you because before you move you must go through her . I dont want to offend anyone  Its not that Im  saying women have complete and udder control in life . But in a sense they do . Even  if men dont realize it .  Think about it . I am so very proud of my man . I gave him the  initiative to move forward to stop remaining stagnant and to move forward with his plans .  had 4th of July night not happened  we would still be sitting here  in the same situation with the same  goals not  moving like clockwork hoping and dreaming for a better life . Instead we have moved on them . I helped him enroll in college  and i continue to help with his studies . Thats my JOB . I love that JOB . Because before long we will be looking back at this as a stepping stone not a stone wall .  In my case this new job is also a stepping stone . I have bettered myself and  created a future  that is bright . I will learn skills essential to live by  in life . Not just open a box and stock a shelf .  The skills I will learn are universal . You can apply them in everyday life.  They will open new opportunities. Its like on christmas morning  you see the large present under the tree . You  unwrap it and cut open the box .  Theres another box .   you unwrap that box and cut it open theres another box .   Its like unfolding life .  In life you have to go through the many peels to get to the prize .  A year from now we will be completely different people . A year ago I lived life conformed to what I thought life was supposed to be .  Settle down, get married, live to work,  have babies ,and stop . I no longer live by that .  I  still make plans to make the transition easier . I have opened an IRA . A checking account  a savings account and  Mint.com  so that I can see the big picture and  become financially stable .  But  I will no longer live by what step I should take next . I watch out for the hurdles coming at me and strategize how we will  jump over them .   After the research ive done  on what its like and stories Ive read of being an Air Force Wife I've learned you never know what to expect  and to be prepared for them as they come .  Nothing is ever going to turn out the way you expected .  and if you expect or assume something is going to happen that way you set yourself up for dissappointment .  

Been a little while

So everything lately seems to be going really well . Last Monday I was called in to do the Pre-Employment on Thrusday test  for Vantage Sourcing a call center for Verizon wireless. They specialize in Inbound-Outbound calls  and Tech Support . After Acing the Pre-Employment test I was asked to come back for a job interview on Monday . So I came We socialized a little , The  interview proceeded . Questions asked and answered. Then more questions asked then answered . Then Details given about the position  and salary, promotion oppertunities, training  and what it entails. She told me to come to the front to fill out some additional paperwork about the background check, the drug test, and everything else.  She wrote yes on top of my resume'. She told me that Friday I would know something once the drug test and background check came up clean. I shook her hand , Thanked her again then went and peed in a little cup . Now I'm sitting here and Friday cannot come fast enough . I'm more nervous now than I was at the interview . I am anxious . I sent a Thank you Email back to the company. I  am so confident and hopeful that I  get teh position. Every one please pray for me . I need this to work out for me right now . I am keeping a positive attitude.  Usually if someone send you for a drug test then your hired right ?  I hope so .

A wonderful day over the rainbow

So today was very good . Shawn and I had the day off even  though he was  so sick . i babied him  giving him food and drinks and his precious PSP lol I love him so much . So he got his financial aid accepted by the school and  it should be more than enough to take care of what he needs to get done . Maybe the extra we will pay off some  bills that we dont want to deal with monthly anymore. Well I am surrounded by loving family and friends . I feel like nothing can go wrong right now . I'm not even letting work get to me . I love my job rephrase  I love the department I work in and I love  most of the people I work with . Theres a couple of bad apples  but they will be weeded out Im sure of it .

well its been a couple of days

So its been a couple of days and  I was starting to think that maybe the bad stuff was about to happen . I  was late to work because of the road work on westgate . then my department manager i swear  has been ill or something is wrong with her . It seems to me  that when i do everything im supposed to according to my job plus some except for one thing  then i did nothing right .  but if shes the only one upset at me and customers are complimenting my customer service then whats the problem .  I think maybe its an underlying  issue . It  may not be me at all . Today went well . I got off a little late . I changed my filing status at work  and man i like it  not only that . I must be doing something right because I dont have to work in the deli anymore around all those premenstraul women and  i  been getting full time about every other week . Maybe they will make me permanant full time . Maybe they will  promote me when my attendance coaching falls off .

Filled with so many emotions but my brain cannot process them all

Shawn and I filled out all the necessary paperwork for his schooling the FAFSA and the enrollment application to try and get a step up . Well I went to bed at 4 am to wake up at 8:30 am we both got ready got all of our paperwork together I went to the Social Security office and changed my social security card then rode by the tag office and changed my ID got back home and Shawn had already made his trip to the college and preregistered . So Dothan drivers LEARN TO DRIVE ! if you are at a 4 way stop , and you stop at the stop sign then the person to the left goes and its your turn to go and you go why would a redneck ass truck honk right in your ear thinking it was their turn . I didn't see a red light . I'm going by the DMV and getting a stack of drivers manuals every time a jackass is doing something jackass like im going to throw one at their vehicle . Either way the purpose of this blog is that im so amazed about everything that's going right right now . could it be my prayers were finally heard after 22 years . That maybe something may be working out in OUR favor . Life has thrown so many curve balls . Weve overcame them as if they were ghosts but now its real and its happening . We have so much left to do this is just the beginning . We are now husband and wife . My name is changed . Hes enrolled in college with the financial aid out of the way . steps left to go through are study for placement testing . take the placement test . start classes study for and pass classes . finish college credits study for asvab take asvab do pre physical training to get prepared for basics . Go to Basics then me move in with my mom and pay off some bills like furniture and credit cards Him graduate from basics and go to tech school . Him come home from tech and get ready to move . Me find a job in our new town we will be moving to . apply for on base housing . then move . its a long process something is bound to go wrong but me being a not so religious person saying this If GOD wills it to be . If it is the right decision everything WILL work out in our favor .

So many things happen through out the day . So im going to tell you about a basic work day for me . Anyone else who is a current walmart employee oops associate excuse me . they will understand .
1. Wake up 9 minutes till i have to walk out the door have eyes open searching in the dark to find my pants my shirt my underwear bra socks and shoes oh don't forget the belt .

2 brush teeth don't forget the mouthwash close customer encounters

3 go through the list in your head and verbally to make sure you have the essentials cell phone to check time on break to make sure you don't go over even if it doesn't have service on it cigarettes because most associates are smokers have to be
wallet or at least a couple of bucks to get a 40 cent drink on break
keys cant forget those
badge a must
box cutter
pens
lunch if your lucky enough to get a lunch that day

4 grab a bag of chips or snack to eat going down the road along with something to drink
5 spill the drink on your hand while juggling everything and drop your snack after you've locked your door
6 get in the car realize you've left something behind and have to go back up
7 finally leave for work rushing no matter what time it is to make sure you clock in on time
8 as soon as you swipe your badge have a coworker or manager asking a question or asking you to do something of course the answer is yes or OK .
9 check cbl's
10 go to your department and check the TMAT and or notes
11 start doing bread if it was layed properly the night before no problem start baking . if it wasn't then start baking what you have while you go in the freezer to pull more for the day
12 check dates and pull reduced rack check on bread
13 start making a list to fill floor and drag everything out of the freezer to put out on floor
14 someone has to go to lunch cover the front and the back and the freezer and the floor
15 realize your going to be behind and ask for some help from a kind coworker
16 about time for managers to come through and ask whether the breads coming out or if the front wall needs to be filled
17 by this time everything you touch doesn't go right you drop cookies on the floor or the bread is over proofed or undercooked realize your out of something and that's the only thing the customers want today .
18 time for lunch yes you've made it through the first half of the day
19 lunch ends damn it wasn't long enough
20 go back to work something went wrong or somethings come up that's going to put you 30 more minutes behind
21 breads done baking time to bag it tag it and put it out on the floor oops missing labels or sell by dates.
22 get told production is not up enough do more of what your doing right now for tomorrow .
23 get all the breads put out on floor time to do the lay still stuff to put out on the floor plus you cant walk in freezer and a truck is coming . there's seafood and deli and frozen's stuff in your freezer what do you do down stack 3 pallets 5 l carts and 2 rocket carts as fast as you can while filling the floor and making a cart for the bread to be layed
24 lay bread . your out of half of what you need
25 fill floor again everything is sold and everyone mad because its sold
26 finish bread lay time to pull the reduced rack off the floor do throwaways and recycle it at least we don't have to wash trash anymore
27 finish bread lay
28 floors full
29 realize you didn't finish the cleaning list and now have 5 minutes to take trash and clean close
30 at the last minute a whole family comes up and wants to order a wedding cake 138 dollars of income for the bakery why would we turn down a wedding cake order we wouldn't not to mention a good word on the north side bakery
31 take the trash and plastic and organics throw them in the proper bins
32 take the trash cans back to the bakery do a once over to make sure everything that can be done has been done
33 get to the time clock and see your 30-45 minutes over clock out
34 go home
35 get home and clean up
36 start dishwasher
37 lay out dinner
38 wash clothes
39 cook dinner and clean up after dinner mess
40 watch a few minutes of TV or get online
41 set alarm and go to bed
42 start all over again

so there's my usual day at work and once again im sure any other walmart associate can relate to this no matter what there level is . had to get it out

Well Shawn's foot is Fractured in 3 places his foot is black and blue . he has nothing to take for the pain and stuck on light duty for a week . Apparently fractured bones must heal very very quickly . especially when a 2000 pound pallet gets stuck on your foot . anyways that's among one of our issues right now, But other than all that life is OK . I baught Shawn a book to study his ASVAB . Hopefully everything will go well and he will get a very good score .

Life is Grand right now

Im so unbelievable happy . Shawn and I are married and its been amazing ever since . Shawn will be going to college this fall semester to get 15 college credits then to pass the ASVAB test then on to basics I will be leaving our apartment and moving in with my mom to save money till we get moved to a base then I will be Mrs. Smith airforce wife . We will possibly be joining our extended family Mannon and Ashley depending on what career shawn chooses . Im so excited a lot of hard road ahead of us .
